Today, Lainey has come down to the health department for her free birth control refill. Of course, before she can get a refill, they will need to perform a physical examination.  She waits in the exam room for the doctor to arrive. 

Before long, Nurse Rose arrives and begins Lainey's physical. The nurse takes Lainey’s height and weight before having her undress and change into a gown. Having Lainey sit on the exam table, the nurse hooks her up to the BP machine.

"So, how's your day going," the nurse asks. "Great," responds Lainey, “How about yours?" 

"It's been well, it's been a long day, but well, you're here," giggles the nurse.

"Sorry about that," Lainey says. "Oh hey, no, no, don't worry, you're making it much better," replies the nurse cracking a smile.

The nurse continues with the exam, snapping on a pair of gloves and preparing a tongue depressor and swabs. She performs an ENT examination on Lainey before excusing herself momentarily from the exam room.

Returning to the exam room, the nurse presses a button on the exam table, making it lean back. She instructs Lainey to put her legs into the stirrups, and as the chair continues to lean back, Lainey's legs are raised high above her head.

"So what are we doing now," she asks the nurse. "Well, we're going to be performing a breast examination, so do you mind me taking off your gown," the nurse continues.

With Lainey now totally nude on the table, the nurse begins to examine her breasts. After extensively inspecting Lainey's breasts, the nurse moves her hands down and explores her abdominal area. Asking if everything is reasonable, the nurse tells Lainey, "So far, so good!"

Having Lainey sit up on the table, Nurse Rose examines her backside. As she gets to her lower back, the nurse asks Lainey if she has any pain in her back.

"No," says Lainey. "Excuse me for a moment," says the nurse, leaving the exam room. Lainey sits there starkly naked, wondering why the nurse just felt the need to excuse herself.

After what feels like an eternity, the nurse walks back into the exam room, putting on a mask. "There is something concerning on your back," she explains to Lainey. "I spoke to the doctor, and because of all the recent outbreaks, I'm going to have to bring you to isolation."

"What? Like what," exclaims later, caught off guard by this news.

"It's right here," says the nurse pointing to it on her back. "I'm sorry, I know you can't see it, but it's right there. Don't worry, this isn't going to be something terrible, and it's not going to hurt or anything. We just need to put you into isolation to watch you so we can make sure it doesn't get any worse," the nurse continues explaining.

"So isolation," says Lainey, stopping as she drifts off into her thoughts. 

"Yes, oh, well, it's just so the doctor can better examine you if that's alright," the nurse replies.

"Okay, yeah, I guess so," Lainey says very apprehensively. Giving her back the gown, the nurse instructs Lainey to put it on and follow her. But Lainey doesn't quite understand what's going to happen. 

Lainey thought she was just going to isolation to be examined. She's going to isolation for a 48-hour hold, where she will undergo multiple examinations to ensure the spot on her back is normal. They want to make sure it's not the sign of something more severe or infectious.

As Lainey waits for the doctor in a yellow isolation gown locked in a holding cell, she begins to grow impatient. She starts calling out for people, trying to get somebody's attention. Eventually, Lainey tires herself out, sitting down and waiting to see if somebody will soon arrive. A few minutes later, the doctor enters dressed in coveralls, followed by the nurse she had seen earlier.

"It's about time somebody came for me," cries out Lainey. "You could have gotten out anytime you wanted to," says the doctor, showing her that the key was in the jail cell door the whole time.

Feeling embarrassed at that revelation, Lainey gets quiet again. "You didn't need to yell like that," says the nurse, who seemed so sweet just a short time ago.

Pulling Lainey out of the cell, Doctor Tampa begins to ask Nurse Rose to explain what she felt the issue was that warranted his attention. As the nurse points the concerning spot out to the doctor, he comments it looks like it's probably just a mole.

"This is over a mole," cries Lainey, but the doctor sees a spot that he's more concerned about. 

"No, no, no, no, no," says the doctor. "While you do have a slightly abnormal-looking mole back there, you do have a spot on the other side of your back that we're concerned about. We just want to take a good look at you and make sure everything looks fine," the doctor says, instilling some confidence back into Lainey that someone here knows what they're doing.

Having Lainey take a seat on the exam table, the doctor asks the nurse what she has done already. She gives him the rundown, and the doctor says the first thing they will need to do is draw some arm juice and send it down to the lab. Not having any alcohol swabs in the lab, the doctor grabs a stick with iodine solution on it and swabs Lainey's arm.

As Doctor Tampa prepares to extract the sample, he asks Nurse Rose to prepare a thermometer. After drawing the sample, the doctor checks on Lainey, "Are you okay?"

“Yeah, but that was a big ass needle!" exclaims Lainey. "Would you rather I just take two next time," the doctor questions before telling the nurse he is going to run the samples down to the lab.

Returning to the exam room, the doctor has Lainey remove her isolation gown and lay back on the table. He leans the table backward and extends the center of the table so Lainey can fully extend her body. The nurse puts the thermometer in Lainey’s mouth, asking her to hold it. As Lainey does this, the medical team looks over every square inch of her body, slowly inspecting her epidermis.

Slowly, they poke and probe her skin all over the place, looking for abnormalities. Seeing a few things they might want to be concerned about, they note the various marks they will want to observe for changes over her 48-hour hold.

Finally, the thermometer beeps and the nurse removes it from Lainey's mouth. They instruct her to flip onto her stomach so they can continue the examination process all over her backside. They proceed as they inspect every inch of her backside, noting the spots of concern.

Upon completing their comprehensive examination of Lainey's body, they place her back in the cell. The doctor informs her they will return in 12 hours to re-examine her and note any changes in the spots they have observed.
