In need of some money, Jackie signed up to be a test subject at Good Samaritan Laboratories. Testing what? She doesn't know, nor does she care, as long as she's getting paid!

As Nurse Rose leads Jackie into the research laboratory, Jackie's puzzled looking around. She sees a large table with stirrups attached to it, a long bed with restraints all over it, and a ton of instruments laid out neatly on the counter. There's also a chair that appears to be sitting in front of a jail cell.

Now Jackie wants to know what she's going to be testing today. The nurse explains its hypnotherapy which seems to puzzle Jackie. The nurse further explains that they will be testing mind control. She explains that it could have future uses in emotional therapy and other forms of treatment. Jackie's only emotion is anger, as she has not been told what she would be testing out today.

Kindly the nurse explains all of this information was covered in the contracts Jackie signed agreeing to be a test subject. Jackie's look of anger turns to a face full of shame as she realizes how little she read the contracts before signing. The nurse attempts to explain to Jackie what is going to take place. 

Before long, the nurse is joined by a bumbling researcher who attempts to explain to Jackie what will take place. In her indecision to participate, he shame's Jackie for having wasted this much of their valuable time.

But as he continues with his crazy spiel, further explaining things, Jackie begins to agree that it sounds kind of interesting and decides that she will continue to participate.

With the exciting news, the researcher informs her they need to perform a physical to make sure she is in good health before they can begin the research. Jackie is confused by this request, telling them she will not take her clothes off.

Continuing to put up resistance to getting nude for an exam, demanding why that pertains to their research, the team agrees to share more information about the study with Jackie.

They show her the VR headset and wireless earphones she'll be wearing during the research. After fitting it on her head, they turn on everything so they can begin the testing. Little does Jackie know she has played right into their research, and soon she will find out weak minds are the most malleable.

The researchers leave Jackie sitting in the chair with the gear on her head as they tend to other patients. About half an hour later, they return to check on Jackie, and she's still sitting there, watching and listening.

The nurse lifts the headphone, asking Jackie how she's doing. I'm doing good so far, she replies. The nurse puts her headphones back down so Jackie can continue listening before conversing with the researcher on what they're going to do next.  

Satisfied Jackie is progressing as they anticipated, they tend to their other patient as Jackie unknowingly continues to fall under their control. They returned about 30 minutes later to remove the equipment off of Jackie. 

Jackie's grumpy, to say the least, but happy that they're finally done. Asking how her experience was, Jackie says it was very uninteresting, and in fact, quite boring! I can't believe I'm getting paid for this, she exclaims.

The researcher asks her if she feels any different, but she doesn't—still the same old Jackie. So the researcher once again broaches the subject of her physical examination. 

With a disgusting look on her face, Jackie says that that will not happen as she already told them she would not get naked for them. The researcher is quite persistent; it will happen, he says. Jackie, however, remains quite insistent that it won't. 

Soon enough, Jackie will realize that hypnotherapy is very real, and it worked quite well on her as she goes in and out of being under the control of these two researchers.
